"A physical inspection of metro coaches running on track were audited on safety measures by a team of senior CMRS officials whole day yesterday," JMRC CMD N C Goyal said here.
"Though CMRS has hinted a satisfactory run of rolling stock (coaches), but it would file a final report to the Railway Board that would issue a safety certificate to JMRC, Goyal said.
Based on safety certificate, CMRS experts would again examine rail track, signalling, communication, platforms, lifts, escalators, lighting, and personnel's expertise on the first route from Mansarovar to Chandpole, he said.
CMRS' final public safety certificate would allow JMRC to run metro on commercial basis in Jaipur, he added.
Research Design and Standards Organisation has already passed the speed certificate to JMRC recently. RDSO's speed certificate was also examined by CMRS team, Goyal said.
