Special CBI Judge Bharat Parashar fixed the matter for consideration on charges after the counsel appearing for the nine accused said that scrutiny of documents supplied to them by the agency was complete.
"All the accused state that documents supplied to them are complete. Section 207 CrPC stands complete. The case is now adjourned for consideration on charge for April 20," the judge said.
The IO informed the court that he has supplied all the documents of the case to the accused.
The case pertains to alleged irregularities in allocation of Rajhara North coal block in Jharkhand to accused firm Vini Iron and Steel Udyog Ltd (VISUL).
Apart from VISUL and Koda, ex-Jharkhand chief secretary Ashok Kumar Basu, former Coal Secretary H C Gupta, public servants Bipin Bihari Singh and Basant Kumar Bhattacharya, Kolkata-based VISUL's Director Vaibhav Tulsyan, chartered accountant Navin Kumar Tulsyan and Koda's alleged close aide Vijay Joshi are accused in the case.
