Under the partnership, TERI University will establish Coca-Cola Department of Regional Water Studies, which will offer post-graduate courses on water management. The courses will start this year.
"There will be a batch of 30 students to start with. Over the next 10 years, we expect to have at least 1,000 water professionals to pass out from the department," Coca-Cola India Vice-president, Technical, Asim Parekh told PTI.
The professionals, who pass out of the University, will have the choice of working with NGOs, government and semi-government organisations, he added.
