Coconut oil prices moved up by Rs 20 per tin on local demand in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
However, non-edible oils held steady in restricted deals.
Marketmen said some local demand mainly supported the upside in coconut oil prices.
In the national capital, coconut oil rose by Rs 20 to Rs 1,380-1,430 per tin.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
