There was an appreciable fall in minimum temperatures at many places over Telangana, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its summary of minimum temperatures.
Minimum temperatures were markedly below normal at one or two places over the state and the lowest minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius was recorded at Medak, the IMD said.
"Cold conditions" are "very likely to prevail" in the districts of Adilabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Medak, Khammam and Nizamabad in Telangana today and tomorrow, it said in its warning for the next five days for the state.
