Cold, foggy conditions continue in UP

Cold and foggy conditions continued to prevail in Uttar Pradesh, with Nazibabad recording the lowest minimum temperature of the state at 1.5 degree Celsius.
According to the MeT department, night temperatures rose in Gorakhpur and Allahabad divisions, fell in Agra division and changed little in remaining divisions of the state.
It was appreciably below normal in Moradabad, Jhansi and Agra divisions, below normal in Varanasi and Meerut divisions and normal in remaining divisions of the state, it said.
Lowest minimum temperature was 1.5 degree Celsius recorded at Nazibabad.
The department has warned that dense to very dense fog would occur at a few places over the state tomorrow.
