Cold wave conditions continued to prevail in Uttar Pradesh with Muzaffarnagar recording the lowest temperature at 1.6 degrees Celsius in the state.
The day temperature was below normal in the Gorakhpur division, while the night temperatures were below normal in the Meerut, Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad and Bareilly divisions, the weather office said.
Weather was dry over the state, where cold wave conditions continued to prevail despite bright sunshine.
Muzaffarnagar recorded the lowest temperature of 1.6 degrees Celsius in the state.
The Meteorological office has forecast rain or thundershowers at few places in the eastern Uttar Pradesh tomorrow.
