Cold winds sweep national capital

Cold winds kept the mercury at below normal level in the national capital, with the minimum temperature settling at 9 degrees Celsius.
A shallow fog was seen in the morning hours. Humidity level was recorded at 50 per cent at 8:30 AM, the MeT department said.
The weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky with the maximum temperature expected to settle around 27 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature had settled at 8 degrees Celsius while the maximum was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
