Comedy is my forte: Santhanam

Actor-comedian Santhanam is looking forward to the release of his film "Sakka Podu Podu Raja" tomorrow and he is confident that the film will entertain the viewers.
It is directed by GL Sethuraman, who earlier worked with Santhanam on "Lollu Sabha".
"Comedy is always my forte. I can never do a full-fledged serious film. I want to entertain the audiences. I would love to see them leave the theatre hall with a smile on their faces. I don't want to deliver sermons or social messages in my films," he said.
The actor said this is why he chooses his scripts carefully.

"It is an important investment because if I go wrong in the lineup or the character or the script, I would be gone. It's like a wedding, we can ponder and discuss a lot before the wedding, but once we tie the knot, it's over."
Actor Simbu, who introduced Santhanam through his 2004 film "Manmadhan", has now made his debut as a music composer in "Sakka Podu Podu Raja".

"We had just one month to get the film's music ready. When we approached STR, he said that he needs to sleep on it. But he agreed to come onboard the next day. He took just a month time to deliver the tracks."
