Comic Con India has launched the 2nd edition of its 'Fandom Month' where pop culture fans will get to revel in their obsession with comic books, superheroes and all things geeks through online contests ranging from 'Trivia', 'Fan Art', and 'Super Fan Hunt'.
Apart from contests, the month-long digital event will also offer fans with the opportunity to read new comics from some of the best comic book artists in the country for free.
The Fandom Month, which is the extension of the 'Free Comic Book Weekend', will have four weekly contests based on fictional universes like Harry Potter, Stranger Things, Batman, and Game of Thrones.
Jatin Varma, founder of Comic Con India, said that the Fandom Month offers comic book fans with a platform to engage and interact with others.
"Comic books are an adventure that fans are always willing to partake in. Fans love to talk to each other about exciting stories, interesting nuances, and the feeling that enjoying a good comic gives to a reader is impossible to achieve through any other means. With a mix of free comics, digital contests, and giveaways, the event has something for all the fans," Varma added.
Four winners from the 'Super Fan Hunt', one each from Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, will win 10 passes each to attend their city's Comic Con.
This year's Comic Con will start from Hyderabad on October 13 and 14. It will be organised in Bangalore on November 17-18, before moving to Delhi on December 7-9. It will conclude in Mumbai on December 22-23.
