Company Secretary clarifies on same email for two companies

"I am a qualified practising Company Secretary. As a practising Company Secretary I render service to a number of client companies and file the returns on behalf of all my clients to the Registrar of Companies. Quiet a number of returns are filed under my email id which includes advantconsult@gmail.Com," T Balasubramanian, Partner BM and Associates said in a statement.

He was making his clarification on the issue raised by Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley who said that the e-mail and web address of Ausbridge Holdings and Investments and Advantage Strategic Consulting, which is alleged to have invested in Aircel-Maxis, were the same in 2006.

"Since, I am the Company Secretary of Advantage Strategic Consulting Private Limited and Ausbridge Holdings and Investments Private Limited, the returns for these two companies were filed under my email id. This was used mainly for my administrative convenience," Balasubramanian said.
