Compensation for houses and crops damaged in hailstorm: Das

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today announced the state government will provide compensation for houses and crops damaged by hailstorm in Godda block of the district a week ago.
Visiting some affected villages in the block, Das said the varying compensation amount between Rs 6,000 and Rs 70,000 would be given to owners of the houses for repairs based on the extent of damage.
He also said compensation would be given to farmers for crop damage.
Das informed the people that a horticulture facility spread over 111 hectares would come up in Godda.
