Complete Jan Dhan Yojna works by Dec 25: Ghaziabad DM to banks

District Magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma today asked bank officials to complete all formalities for opening accounts under the Jan Dhan Yojna by December 25.
At a meeting with bank officials at the collectorate conference hall here, Sharma said all banks must strive hard to open maximum number of savings bank accounts.
A survey should be conducted by December 15 for searching eligible families.
In case any person is facing difficulty in opening bank account he/she may contact District Lead Bank Officer R S Meena, the district magistrate said.
Till date a total of 56,700 savings bank accounts have been opened in the district, Sharma added.
