The condition of former chief minister of Mizoram Brig T Sailo, undergoing treatment in a hospital here, has shown slight improvement today.
Thenphunga Sailo (92), admitted to the ICU of the New Life Hospital last night, has been suffering from hypertension which was controlled in the wee hours. He was in a semi-conscious state this morning, Dr Robert Lalmalsawma, a doctor treating Sailo said.
Oxygen is still being administered, but he is stable, he said.
Sailo was the second chief minister of Mizoram.
Prior to that, he served as an officer in the British India Army and then the Indian Army, retiring as a brigadier.
