Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today asked the opposition Congress to "set its own house in order" before levelling charges against the ruling dispensation in the state.
Addressing a public meeting at Nerwa here, he alleged that state Congress incharge Rajni Patil and Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Mukesh Agnihotri were levelling "baseless allegations" against the Centre and BJP-led state government, in a "desperate" attempt to draw the attention of the public.
In a statement, state Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar and Industries Minister Bikram Singh Thakur termed Agnihotri a "confused leader".
He (Agnihotri) is continuously making bizarre statements just to establish himself as the leader of the state, but the truth is that even leaders of the Congress party do not consider him as their leader, the ministers said.
