Cong confident of victory in students' union polls

Congress today exuded confidence over the results of students unions elections in universities and colleges of Rajasthan where polling took place today.
Results in some colleges and universities have been declared while results are awaited in many, and are expected later tonignt.
PCC President Sachin Pilot claimed that initial reports were in favour of the party's students' wing NSUI.
"NSUI has shown a good performance in the elections. As per the initial reports, the results at several colleges and universities in the state were in favour of the NSUI," Pilot said.
"It indicates that youths are turning towards Congress," he said.

Barring a few incidents, the elections were peaceful.
Police had to use mild force in Hanumangarh and Jodhpur, where supporters of rival candidates clashed.
