"The commission of inquiry set up by the UPA Government should be condemned. It is a conspiracy to trap Modi and it is nothing but political vendetta," he said in a statement.
Singhal said on the one hand, the courts were giving clean chits to the Gujarat Chief Minister in cases related to the 2002 riots, while on the other side, the Central Government was trying to implicate him in its conspiracies.
