She said Amarinder was going back on his promises made ahead of Punjab assembly elections and is now looking up to the central government for waiving farm loans.
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader also took a dig at cricketer-turned-politician and Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, citing his excuses to continue with a TV comedy show despite being in public service and holding a position in the government.
"The Congress party can fall to any extent for politics and to win elections. Amarinder Singh had made many promises in 2002 and did not fulfil them. In this election too, he has made lofty promises, including waiving farm loans and also got the forms filled from all such farmers," she said.
Besides, farm loan waiver, she said the Punjab government should now fulfil other promises like providing 25 lakh jobs and mobile phones to all youth.
On Sidhu, she said once a person is in public service he should not have any business interests and should quit his business interests to do public service.
She said "the less she says about Sidhu, the better".
Taking a dig at him, Badal said, if Sidhu does not have time to go to tv channel then his wife can go there instead.
Asked about the Satluj-Yamuna-Link (SYL) canal issue, she said the previous SAD-BJP government led by Parkash Singh Badal has already returned the farmers' land acquired for the purpose by enacting a legislation in the state assembly.
