"Congress and BJP do not a want third force to raise its head in India. They will play a got-up match forever," Banerjee told a poll meeting in South 24 Parganas district.
"In this election, whatever efforts they make, Trinamool Congress cannot be checked as a third force. It is our target to give an alternative to the country," she said.
She also alleged that the CPI(M), Congress and BJP had formed a secret alliance against her party and said that it would not work as the people were with TMC.
"Congress here does not speak against the CPI(M) and CPI(M) does not oppose Congress. They are also not vocal against BJP. They are only up in arms against us. A section of the media is also with them. Where are the ideals?"
"After we came to power, we stopped the politics of killings. CPI(M) is trying to revive it. We will not allow it," she said.
