Congress would win next elections, Rahul Gandhi to be PM:Aiyar

Amid speculation over Rahul Gandhi's elevation, a senior congress leader and former union minister Mani Shankar Aiyar today predicted that the Congress would win the next elections and Gandhi would be the next Prime Minister.
"Congress will win the next Lok Sabha elections and Rahul Gandhi will become the next Prime Minister," he told reporters here.
On the Congress Vice-President dubbing the Narendra Modi dispensation as 'suit-boot ki sarkar' in Parliament, Aiyar alleged that the Modi government was for moneyed people.
On the fishermen problem, he said it is a national issue and the External Affairs Ministry should hold talks with Sri Lanka and the problem would be solved.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said in Parliament that the fishermen problem would be solved through talks "but there is no concrete action," he told reporters here.
