Constable in ACB net for receiving Rs 5,000 bribe

A head constable was today arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Nizamabad district of Telangana for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000.
The constable of Special Branch working at the office of Superintendent of Police in Nizamabad was caught red handed by ACB sleuths when he demanded and received the sum as a bribe from a person, an ACB release said here.
The accused was arrested after recovery of the bribe amount from him, it said.
