Constable killed in road accident in UP

A police constable was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on Lucknow-Varanasi road late last night, police said today.
Nakul Yadav (45), posted at City Kotwali police station, had gone out for some official work when he met with the accident in front of central school, Amhat, they said.
The locals rushed him to the district hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said, adding that a case has been registered and investigations are on.
