"We are working on a project that proposes to train the grass-root level workers as electricians and plumbers," the Faridabad MLA said yesterday.
Goel said the project would be in the final shape in the coming few months as the experts are studying various modalities of the training course.
Workers would be given training at the site of their work, he said.
"The training which we are providing caters to that strata of society which is illiterate or semi-literate hence the course content relies mostly on audio-visual aids for training," said J P Shroff, Chairman of NGO Kushal, which is executing the project.
