Contraband smuggler arrested

One person was today arrested with contraband worth rupees one crore in Jaidpur area of Barabanki district, police sources said here.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted Chandrabhan near Mehndipur Hanuman temple and when searched one kilogram morphine was recovered from his possession, they said.
Police said that the recovered contraband was stated to be worth rupees one crore in the international market.
