Cop dies after getting electric shock

A Jammu and Kashmir police personnel died today after getting an electric shock while trying to fix electric wires at his home in Samba district here.
Constable Sarain Singh, posted as driver of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, died of electric shock at his residence in Chak Sataka in Ramgarh area of the district, a police officer said.
A case has been registered in this regard and body sent for postmortem. It will be handed over to his family after legal and medical formalities were over, he said.
