Copper eases on global cues

In a limited activity, select copper, brass and zinc prices eased at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockist selling amidst subdued demand from industrial users on the back of lower London Metal Exchange (LME) cues.
The industrial metals dropped at LME, to its lowest in nearly two months after a Federal Reserve official said the US may still trim its massive bond buying scheme this year.
Brass utensils scrap shed Rs 2 per kg to Rs 344 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 346.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper wire bar, brass sheet cutting and zinc softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 503, Rs 494, Rs 482, Rs 531, Rs 355 and Rs 161, respectively.
However, Copper sheet cutting inched-up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 480 from Rs 479.
