Copper, lead ease on sluggish demand

Prices of copper and lead declined by Rs 2 kg at the non-ferrous market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders said muted demand from consuming industries mainly led to the decline in copper and lead prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap, lead ingot and lead imported were down by Rs 2 each to Rs 364, Rs 74 and Rs 80 per kg respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 96-102, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 840-845, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 364, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 74, lead imported Rs 80, aluminium ingots Rs 155, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 151, aluminium wire scrap Rs 151 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 149.
