Traders said uptick in demand from consuming industries and a firm trend in overseas market led to rise in copper and nickel prices.
Meanwhile, copper for three-months delivery added 0.4 per cent on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel plate (4x4) were up by Rs 2 each to Rs 377 and Rs 852-857 per kg.

Lead ingot Rs 90, lead imported Rs 96, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148.
