Copra edible declines on poor demand, improved supply

Copra edible prices declined in an otherwise steady spices market here today due to reduced offtake by stockists and millers in the face of adequate supplies.
Copra edible Mumbai fell by Rs 100 per quintal to end at Rs 12,100 from overnight closing level of Rs 12,200.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 575/675 (575/675), ginger bleached (per kg) 230 (230), ginger unbleached (per kg) 250 (250), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 10,300 (10,300), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 10,200 (10,200), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 17,000 (17,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 12,100 (12,200).
