Copra Rajapur Mumbai declined further in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid ample arrivals from producing belts.
Meanwhile, black pepper, ginger and all other copra varieties ruled stable in the absence of necessary buying support.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai fell by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 17,800 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 17,900.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 665/735 (665/735), ginger bleached (per kg) 220 (220), ginger unbleached (per kg) 240 (240), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 7,500 (7,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 7,400 (7,400), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 17,800 (17,900), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 9,300 (9,300).
