Copra rajapur surges in lackluster trade

Copra rajapur Mumbai prices surged further in an otherwise lackluster spices market here today due to rising demand from stockists amid restricted arrivals.
Copra rajapur Mumbai rose by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 10,500 from Saturday's close Rs 10,300.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs) with previous rates in brackets:
Black pepper (per kg) 735/805 (735/805), ginger bleached (per kg) 150 (150), ginger unbleached (per kg) 170 (170), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 6,600 (6,600), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 6,500 (6,500), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 10,500 (10,300), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,700 (7,700).
