According to the complaint filed by Constable Satish Kumar, he was on his bike with home guard Rakesh, when a man came from behind and hit Rakesh around 10 am yesterday. The duo was on duty at the DLF Industrial Area.
When constable asked the man, identified as Krishan, the reason for slapping the home guard, the accused called some of his accomplices from Rajiv Colony and started beating the policemen, leaving the duo injured, police said.
The SHO Inspector Hemant Singh said that three of the accused - Krishan, Babita and Anita - have been arrested.
Personal enmity was suspected to be the reason behind the attack, Singh said.
