Three cops at Kalkaji police station here had an altercation today over the duty roster.
One of them even called the police control room. However, none of the three filed a written complaint.
Sources said that an inspector allegedly thrashed two constables of Reserve Battalion stationed on first floor of the police station building after they quarreled over duty roster in the afternoon.
One of the enraged constable called the police control room after the fight.
Later, however, senior officers intervened and cooled down the cops and no formal complaints were lodged.
Police officials maintained that there was "no fight".
"There was no such thing as fight and thrashing at Kalkaji police station. It was just an issue concerning duty roster," said a senior police officer.
