Coriander, chilli prices weaken on sluggish demand

Coriander and red chilli prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today, owing to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks position.
Increased arrivals from producing belts also put pressure on the select spice prices.
Coriander and chilli prices fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 6,100-12,200 and Rs 3,800-12,300 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals from producing belts, mainly pulled down coriander and chilli prices.
