Coriander and jeera prices rose by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today due to fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from growing regions.
Firming trend in the futures market and fresh overseas enquiries also supported the uptrend.
Coriander prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 6,200-12,400 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 200 each to conclude at Rs 18,500-18,700 and Rs 20,500-21,000 per quintal, respectively.
