The Ministry of Corporate Affairs will get a budgetary allocation of Rs 255.25 crore for the current financial year ending March 2015.
As per the Union Budget for 2014-15, tabled in the Parliament today, the Ministry would get an allocation of over Rs 231 crore towards non-plan expenditure.
The amount is same as that allocated in the interim Budget that was presented in February this year.
However, this amount is more than nine per cent higher than revised estimates of Rs 233.36 crore for the previous financial year (2013-14).
Out of the total Rs 255.25 crore, non-plan expenditure accounts for Rs 231.25 crore while plan expenses would make up for Rs 24 crore.
