Market players stated, lowering demand from dairies and animal feed makers in spot markets mainly weighed down on cottonseed oil cake prices, which determined the downfall in its prices at futures market.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange counter, cottonseed oil cake delivery for the January month contract declined by Rs 9 or 0.58 percent to Rs 1,533 per quintal, having an open interest of 12,160 lots.
Similarly, the delivery for the most traded December month contract decreased by Rs 8 or 0.52 percent to Rs 1,518 per quintal, with the business turnover of 80,180 lots.
