Marketmen said profit-booking at existing levels by traders coupled with a weak trend at the spot markets mainly dragged down cottonseed oilcake prices at futures trade here.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, cottonseed oilcake for delivery in current month contracts drifted lower by Rs 29 or 1.07 per cent to Rs 2,690 per quintal with an open interest of 43,880 lots.
Also, the most-active delivery in December contracts was down by Rs 15 or 0.77 per cent to Rs 1,943 per quintal in open interest of 60,140 lots.
