Market players said rising demand from cattle-feed makers amid limited stocks position at the physical markets, influenced cottonseed oilcake prices at futures trade.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oilcake for delivery in most-active June enquired higher by Rs 16, or 0.80 per cent, to Rs 2,025 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 92,560 lots.
Likewise, the May contract of cottonseed oilcake too gained Rs 10, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 1,968 per quintal, showing an open interest of 56,720 lots.
