API Sandip Shivle of Arnala Police Station said the couple kept harassing the 30-year-old domestic help since 2000 following which she lodged a police complaint yesterday.
According to the victim's complaint, the house-owner Leon Lamba (37) used to allegedly force her to consume liquor and then rape her when she was under its influence.
His wife Rita on the other hand used to brand her with hot objects like mosquito coils over house errands, leaving severe burn marks all over the woman's body, police said.
They were arrested last night from their residence in a housing colony in Bolinz here. Further investigations are underway.
