A BSES team had gone to the house at New Sabhapur on September 29 when its members were allegedly attacked by the couple.
In a police complaint, lineman Radhe Shyam alleged that the owner of the house, Anil Jha, and his wife Archana attacked and injured him with sticks when the team reached their house to disconnect the power connection.
A case was registered at Karawal Nagar police station and Anil was arrested, while his wife managed to obtain anticipatory bail, said a police officer.
In another such incident at Jai Prakash Nagar on September 30, a consumer had allegedly threatened a BSES official, who had gone to disconnect electricity and remove the meter for non-payment of bills, with a pistol, said the spokesperson.
