Couple commits suicide in Karimnagar

A couple, who were reportedly in an illicit relationship, allegedly committed suicide by consuming insecticide in a village here today, police said.
The incident took place in the outskirts of Edapalli village under Mahadevpur police limits, nearly 100 kms from here, sub-inspector Mahadevpur Krishna Reddy said.
The victims identified as Suresh (30), from Ankusapur village in the district, was married and was allegedly in an relationship with married woman Rama (28) from Edapalli village, he said.
The duo took the extreme step in the wee hours today after the villagers in Edapalli came to know about their affair, he added.

A case and been registered in this regard and their bodies have been sent for post mortem to a government hospital at Manthani, police said.
