Chief Judicial Magistrate Narender Kumar yesterday issued non-bailable warrant against former Samajwadi Party district President Mehrajuddin and has directed the police to produce him before the court in connection with murder of one Aleem.
According to prosecution, Aleem was shot dead at Tewra village under Kakroli police station in the district on January 28, 2013.
A case was registered against seven persons including Mehrajuddin following which a charge sheet was filed.
However, Mehrajuddin failed to appear in the court.
