Court sentences couple to life imprisonment
Additional District Judge (ADJ) sentenced Abhijit Das and his second wife Moutushi Das to life imprisonment for murdering his 9-year-old daughter Anushka Das last year.
Anushka's body was found at her home on March 9 after which her mother had lodged a police complaint against Abhijit and Moutushi, alleging that they had murdered her.
