"Mohan Bhagwat has once again come out with the demand of a temple in Ayodhya, opening up the path of provocation again though the case is in the court," Karat told a press conference here.
"The Modi government is duty bound to come out with a statement on its stand on Mohan Bhagwat's demand," she added.
Bhagwat had on December 3 asked the society to prepare for building a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
