A senior CPI(M) MLA has tendered an apology for his remarks against differently-abled persons, which triggered a massive row across the state.

CPI(M) MLA Elamaram Kareem, also State General Secretary of CITU, had reportedly attributed the concessions extended to differently abled for KSRTC's losses.

He invited the wrath of various sections of society over his remarks on concession travel facilities to differently abled persons travelling in buses of the ailing state run Kerala State Road Transport Corporation.
