The accused, Sachin, was arrested yesterday by a Babri police team led by SHO Yusuf Khan, SP Vijai Bhushan said here.
He was wanted in 12 cases of murder, loot and extortion, and carries a reward of Rs 12,000 on his head, police said.
Sachin was arrested when his gang was allegedly planning a loot, Bhushan said.
