A 48-year-old CRPF jawan has allegedly committed suicide after hanging himself at the forces' camp here.
The incident was reported around 9:00 PM yesterday from the Group Centre-II when Head Constable Dharamveer Singh was found hanging in his room, officials said.
They said Singh, a resident of Haryana, had been reportedly suffering from some psychiatric illness for some time.
"A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the reasons for Singh taking the extreme step and committing suicide. The local police has registered a case," a senior official has said.
