The CTET was held at 973 centers in India and abroad peacefully except in Haryana where its was postponed due to "administrative reasons", CBSE said in a statement.
"In Haryana in the cities Ambala, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Panchkula Central Teachers Eligibility Test was postponed, where 71,471 candidates were registered for CTET," P I Sabu, CTET Director said.
7,47,477 candidates had registered for the exam in total.
Deputy commissioner of Gurgaon T L Satya Prakash said all schools and educational institutions in Gurgaon will remain closed tomorrow in view of the quota agitation.
