Customfurnish.Com to cover cities within 12 hr drive from base

Custom-made furniture e-tailer customfurnish.Com today said it plans to expand to major cities that are in about 12 hours drive from its base Hyderabad in the next three to four months.
"In the next three to four months we should be in Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Vijayawada, Vizag and Nagupur ... So basically covering all major cities within a 12-hour drive from Hyderabad," customfurnish.Com Founder and CEO Madhukar Gangadi told reporters here.
Asked whether there will be a requirement for another round of funding for the planned expansion, he said "... We are looking to raise anywhere between USD 10 to 15 million very soon."

The company had recently raised around Rs 16 crore seed funding through a group of investors including Satish Reddy, Chairman, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Srini Koppolu, Chairman of Setu Software and others.
The company today announced the launch of its first 'touch and feel' facility at Sarjapur Road in the city.
"We launched our services in Hyderabad last month and customer response has been incredible since then. We have successfully launched in Hyderabad with an overwhelming response and we have also set up our extended services to reach out to Bengaluru," Gangadi said.
Stating that the company will be setting up a manufacturing unit in the city, he said: "We will be setting up manufacturing units across the country as we expand, because the market is very big".

The company's inaugural offerings include modular kitchens, wardrobes, entertainment units, and other fitted furniture for the home along with sofa sets, officials said.
